Contacting the Emergency Assistance on my travel insurance.

Depending on the situation you are in, you may need to get an ambulance and get to hospital before you contact your insurance company.

How to get Emergency Medical Help when needing urgent medical help. Some useful numbers are below.

  • Europe – 112 for Emergency Services
  • UK – 999 for Emergency Services
  • USA – 911 for Emergency Services
  • Ecuador – 911
  • Indonesia – 112
  • Japan – 119 for Fire / Ambulance

If you happen to need medical assistance whilst traveling the assistance company is there to assist you until you are home, or no longer require assistance. Their details should also be on the policy with the number to contact in the event of an Emergency.

GHIC- Global Health Insurance Card – Can be used in accepted countries in Europe.
